In a heartfelt tribute to those who have served our country, The Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa is proud to announce its ‘Massage for a Cause’ event, taking place the week of Veterans Day from November 11-15, 2024. This special initiative will see 10% of all massage proceeds donated to The Post Falls State Veterans Home, a vital local facility providing skilled nursing care for veterans.
Guests are invited to treat themselves to a rejuvenating massage while simultaneously supporting our heroes. This event highlights the commitment to giving back to the local North Idaho community and ensuring veterans receive the care and advocacy they deserve.
“In celebration of Veterans Day, we encourage our local community to embrace relaxation while positively impacting the lives of those who have served our nation,” says Cally King, Manager at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa. “By coming together, we can express our gratitude to our heroes and ensure they receive the support they rightfully have earned.”
The Post Falls Veteran’s Home is a 64-bed skilled nursing facility which has a centralized community center, chapel, physical therapy room, dining room, sports club with big screen televisions, multiple common areas, and a Bistro. The facility also includes a common food preparation area, a laundry facility, maintenance supply areas, a covered pickup and drop-off area, and parking for 90 vehicles.
The contribution will be made to the North Idaho Chapter of the Idaho Veterans Assistance League, (“IVAL”) a 501 (c) (3) charity. “The North Idaho Chapter of IVAL provides financial support and assistance for all the activities and events provided for the Veteran residents of the Post Falls Veterans Home, says Len Crosby, the Treasurer of the North Idaho Chapter of IVAL. “We greatly appreciate the sponsorship of The Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa and the efforts of Ms. King and her staff.”
This campaign is proudly supported by the North Idaho Veterans Assistance League and Kootenai County Veterans Services. To learn more, please visit cdaresortspa.com or call (800) 684-0514.
